Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, MSS51 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated MSS51 data layer compared with 21 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in kidney renal clear cell carcinoma (KIRC), where higher MSS51 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated MSS51 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as BRCA and UCEC show a favorable association.
KIRC, ESCA, and CHOL are the cancer types where MSS51 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
