Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, MSL3 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated MSL3 data layer compared with 27 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD), where higher MSL3 Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated MSL3 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
LUAD, UCEC, and CESC are the cancer types where MSL3 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
