Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, MS4A4E Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated MS4A4E data layer compared with 26 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in ovarian serous cystadenocarcinoma (OV), where higher MS4A4E Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated MS4A4E expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
OV, LGG, and LUSC are the cancer types where MS4A4E Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
