Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, MRPS9-AS2 RNA is linked to patient survival in 18 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated MRPS9-AS2 data layer.

The strongest signal is observed in uveal melanoma (UVM), where higher MRPS9-AS2 RNA is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated MRPS9-AS2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UVM and COAD show a favorable association.

UVM, UCEC, and COAD are the cancer types where MRPS9-AS2 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
