Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, MRPS31 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated MRPS31 data layer compared with 18 for mass-spec protein and 6 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD), where higher MRPS31 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated MRPS31 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC and BLCA show a favorable association.
LUAD, UCEC, and BLCA are the cancer types where MRPS31 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
