Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, MRPS24 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 1 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated MRPS24 data layer compared with 22 for mass-spec protein and 7 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in lung squamous cell carcinoma (LUSC), where higher MRPS24 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated MRPS24 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
LUSC are the cancer types where MRPS24 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
