Across TCGA cell cohorts, MRPS23 RNA expression is significantly associated with the go_rna of many other GO terms, with 3,403 significant associations in total. UPPER_AERODIGESTIVE_TRACT shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible MRPS23-associated GO terms across cancer lineages are Endonucleolytic cleavage in 5'-ETS of tricistronic rRNA transcript (SSU-rRNA, 5.8S rRNA, LSU-rRNA), RNA modification, and Mitochondrial gene expression. Each is linked with MRPS23 in more than 13 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both MRPS23-to-partner and partner-to-MRPS23 results are reported.
