Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, MRPS2 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 1 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated MRPS2 data layer compared with 24 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in stomach adenocarcinoma (STAD), where higher MRPS2 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated MRPS2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
STAD are the cancer types where MRPS2 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
