Across TCGA cell cohorts, MRPS2 RNA expression is significantly associated with the go_rna of many other GO terms, with 4,636 significant associations in total. BLOOD_Lymphoma shows the largest number of these associations.
The most reproducible MRPS2-associated GO terms across cancer lineages are rRNA metabolic process, Endonucleolytic cleavage in ITS1 to separate SSU-rRNA from 5.8S rRNA and LSU-rRNA from tricistronic rRNA transcript (SSU-rRNA, 5.8S rRNA, LSU-rRNA), and rRNA modification. Each is linked with MRPS2 in more than 16 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both MRPS2-to-partner and partner-to-MRPS2 results are reported.
Each partner links to its own Q-omics profile. The box plot shows the strongest example, rRNA metabolic process grouped by MRPS2-low versus MRPS2-high in LUNG_SCLC.
