Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, MRPS18A Mutation is linked to patient survival in 2 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated MRPS18A data layer compared with 22 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in prostate adenocarcinoma (PRAD), where higher MRPS18A Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated MRPS18A expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
PRAD and SKCM are the cancer types where MRPS18A Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
