Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, MRPS12 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated MRPS12 data layer compared with 22 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher MRPS12 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated MRPS12 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
HNSC, SKCM, and UCEC are the cancer types where MRPS12 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
