Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, MRPL9 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 2 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated MRPL9 data layer compared with 26 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma (UCEC), where higher MRPL9 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated MRPL9 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
UCEC and COAD are the cancer types where MRPL9 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
