Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, MRPL58 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 2 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated MRPL58 data layer compared with 26 for mass-spec protein and 6 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in kidney renal clear cell carcinoma (KIRC), where higher MRPL58 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated MRPL58 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
KIRC and COAD are the cancer types where MRPL58 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
