Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, MRPL52 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated MRPL52 data layer compared with 24 for mass-spec protein and 1 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in colon adenocarcinoma (COAD), where higher MRPL52 mass-spec protein is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated MRPL52 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as COAD and PDAC show a favorable association.

COAD, LUAD, and HNSC are the cancer types where MRPL52 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
