Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, MRPL51 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated MRPL51 data layer compared with 29 for mass-spec protein and 7 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in cervical squamous cell carcinoma and endocervical adenocarcinoma (CESC), where higher MRPL51 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated MRPL51 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
CESC, STAD, and HNSC are the cancer types where MRPL51 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
