Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, MRPL50 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 2 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated MRPL50 data layer compared with 23 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD), where higher MRPL50 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated MRPL50 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
LUAD and KICH are the cancer types where MRPL50 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
