Across TCGA patient cohorts, MRPL50 mutation is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 672 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible MRPL50-associated genes across cancer lineages are SNRPGP8, RPS3AP17, and MIR98. Each is linked with MRPL50 in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both MRPL50-to-partner and partner-to-MRPL50 results are reported.
