Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, MRPL44 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 6 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated MRPL44 data layer compared with 24 for mass-spec protein and 3 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in uterine carcinosarcoma (UCS), where higher MRPL44 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated MRPL44 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.

UCS, CESC, and PRAD are the cancer types where MRPL44 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
