Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, MRPL38 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated MRPL38 data layer compared with 21 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in breast invasive carcinoma (BRCA), where higher MRPL38 Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated MRPL38 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
BRCA, LUAD, and PCPG are the cancer types where MRPL38 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
