Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, MRPL27 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 1 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated MRPL27 data layer compared with 24 for mass-spec protein and 7 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in brain lower grade glioma (LGG), where higher MRPL27 Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated MRPL27 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.

LGG are the cancer types where MRPL27 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
