Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, MRPL20-DT RNA is linked to patient survival in 24 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated MRPL20-DT data layer.

The strongest signal is observed in kidney renal clear cell carcinoma (KIRC), where higher MRPL20-DT RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated MRPL20-DT expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as SKCM and PAAD show a favorable association.

KIRC, ACC, and UCEC are the cancer types where MRPL20-DT RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
