Across TCGA patient cohorts, MRPL15 protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 19,103 significant associations in total. LSCC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible MRPL15-associated genes across cancer lineages are STARD8, VGLL3, and PMP22. Each is linked with MRPL15 in more than 7 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both MRPL15-to-partner and partner-to-MRPL15 results are reported.
