Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, MRPL11 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated MRPL11 data layer compared with 25 for mass-spec protein and 6 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in skin cutaneous melanoma (SKCM), where higher MRPL11 Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated MRPL11 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
SKCM, PRAD, and CHOL are the cancer types where MRPL11 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
