Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, MRM1 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated MRM1 data layer compared with 23 for mass-spec protein and 6 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in stomach adenocarcinoma (STAD), where higher MRM1 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated MRM1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
STAD, UCEC, and BLCA are the cancer types where MRM1 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
