Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, MRI1 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated MRI1 data layer compared with 23 for mass-spec protein and 3 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in mesothelioma (MESO), where higher MRI1 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated MRI1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
MESO, SKCM, and ESCA are the cancer types where MRI1 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
