Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, MRGPRX2 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated MRGPRX2 data layer compared with 19 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in esophageal carcinoma (ESCA), where higher MRGPRX2 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated MRGPRX2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as SKCM show a favorable association.
ESCA, BLCA, and BRCA are the cancer types where MRGPRX2 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
