MREG

mutation — cross-omics
Cross-omicsMUTATION → RNAPatientPairwise association · TCGA cohorts

Across TCGA patient cohorts, MREG mutation is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 586 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible MREG-associated genes across cancer lineages are FAM197Y1, RNA5SP419, and MIR5689. Each is linked with MREG in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both MREG-to-partner and partner-to-MREG results are reported.

Each partner links to its own Q-omics profile. The box plot shows the strongest example, FAM197Y1 grouped by MREG-low versus MREG-high in COAD.

mutation associated genes by consensus

Ranked by combined sampling and lineage consensus. X-score (MREG→partner) and Y-score (partner→MREG) are standardized regression coefficients; both directions are reported because the association is undirected. p-values are from the association test.
