Across TCGA cell cohorts, MREG RNA expression is significantly associated with the go_rna of many other GO terms, with 5,600 significant associations in total. BONE shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible MREG-associated GO terms across cancer lineages are Aorta smooth muscle tissue morphogenesis, Negative regulation of bone mineralization involved in bone maturation, and Keratinocyte development. Each is linked with MREG in more than 13 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both MREG-to-partner and partner-to-MREG results are reported.
