Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, MRE11 RNA is linked to patient survival in 25 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated MRE11 data layer compared with 5 for mutation status and 5 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in adrenocortical carcinoma (ACC), where higher MRE11 RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated MRE11 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as READ and UCS show a favorable association.

ACC, READ, and LIHC are the cancer types where MRE11 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
