Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, MRE11 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated MRE11 data layer compared with 25 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma (UCEC), where higher MRE11 mass-spec protein is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated MRE11 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as LUAD and PDAC show a favorable association.

UCEC, LUAD, and PDAC are the cancer types where MRE11 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
