Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, MPV17L2 RNA is linked to patient survival in 21 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated MPV17L2 data layer.
The strongest signal is observed in uveal melanoma (UVM), where higher MPV17L2 RNA is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated MPV17L2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as SCLC and CESC show a favorable association.
UVM, SCLC, and KIRC are the cancer types where MPV17L2 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
