Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, MPV17 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 2 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated MPV17 data layer compared with 25 for mass-spec protein and 6 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in small cell lung cancer (SCLC), where higher MPV17 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated MPV17 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as SKCM show a favorable association.
SCLC and SKCM are the cancer types where MPV17 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
