Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, MPP5 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 6 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated MPP5 data layer compared with 19 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in kidney renal papillary cell carcinoma (KIRP), where higher MPP5 Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated MPP5 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC and BLCA show a favorable association.
KIRP, UCEC, and COAD are the cancer types where MPP5 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
