Across TCGA patient cohorts, MPL mutation is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 3,366 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible MPL-associated genes across cancer lineages are CCNJP1, RNU1-141P, and OR5L1. Each is linked with MPL in more than 2 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both MPL-to-partner and partner-to-MPL results are reported.
