Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, MPIG6B Mutation is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated MPIG6B data layer compared with 23 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in small cell lung cancer (SCLC), where higher MPIG6B Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated MPIG6B expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as SKCM show a favorable association.
SCLC, HNSC, and BLCA are the cancer types where MPIG6B Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
