Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, MPG Mutation is linked to patient survival in 2 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated MPG data layer compared with 27 for mass-spec protein and 6 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in brain lower grade glioma (LGG), where higher MPG Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated MPG expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
LGG and STAD are the cancer types where MPG Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
