Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, MOB3A Mutation is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated MOB3A data layer compared with 23 for mass-spec protein and 6 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in thymoma (THYM), where higher MOB3A Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated MOB3A expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
THYM, SCLC, and PRAD are the cancer types where MOB3A Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
