Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, MNT Mutation is linked to patient survival in 2 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated MNT data layer compared with 26 for mass-spec protein and 3 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in lung squamous cell carcinoma (LUSC), where higher MNT Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated MNT expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
LUSC and UCEC are the cancer types where MNT Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
