Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, MNAT1 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated MNAT1 data layer compared with 26 for mass-spec protein and 6 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in skin cutaneous melanoma (SKCM), where higher MNAT1 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated MNAT1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as BLCA show a favorable association.
SKCM, UCEC, and LUSC are the cancer types where MNAT1 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
