Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, MMS19 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 2 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated MMS19 data layer compared with 24 for mass-spec protein and 7 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma (UCEC), where higher MMS19 Mutation is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated MMS19 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC and LUSC show a favorable association.
UCEC and LUSC are the cancer types where MMS19 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
