Across TCGA patient cohorts, MMP28 mutation is significantly associated with the total protein of many other genes, with 42 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible MMP28-associated genes across cancer lineages are 14-3-3_zeta, CD31, and 14-3-3_beta. Each is linked with MMP28 in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both MMP28-to-partner and partner-to-MMP28 results are reported.
