Across TCGA cell cohorts, MMP27 mutation is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 9 significant associations in total. LUNG_NSCLC_LUAD shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible MMP27-associated genes across cancer lineages are FOLR2, FGF3, and SMIM28. Each is linked with MMP27 in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both MMP27-to-partner and partner-to-MMP27 results are reported.
