Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, MMP24OS mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 6 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated MMP24OS data layer compared with 24 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in glioblastoma multiforme (GBM), where higher MMP24OS mass-spec protein is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated MMP24OS expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC and PDAC show a favorable association.

GBM, CCRCC, and UCEC are the cancer types where MMP24OS mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
