Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, MMP15 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated MMP15 data layer compared with 23 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD), where higher MMP15 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated MMP15 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
LUAD, LGG, and LIHC are the cancer types where MMP15 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
