Across TCGA patient cohorts, MME protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 12,132 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible MME-associated genes across cancer lineages are MME-AS1, RARRES2, and LOX. Each is linked with MME in more than 7 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both MME-to-partner and partner-to-MME results are reported.
