Across TCGA patient cohorts, MMAB mutation is significantly associated with the total protein of many other genes, with 7 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible MMAB-associated genes across cancer lineages are eIF4E, MEK1, and MSH2. Each is linked with MMAB in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both MMAB-to-partner and partner-to-MMAB results are reported.
