Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, MMAA Mutation is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated MMAA data layer compared with 27 for mass-spec protein and 7 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in bladder urothelial carcinoma (BLCA), where higher MMAA Mutation is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated MMAA expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as BLCA and UCEC show a favorable association.
BLCA, UCEC, and LUSC are the cancer types where MMAA Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
