Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, MLYCD Mutation is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated MLYCD data layer compared with 22 for mass-spec protein and 7 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in bladder urothelial carcinoma (BLCA), where higher MLYCD Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated MLYCD expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
BLCA, LUSC, and HNSC are the cancer types where MLYCD Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
