Across TCGA patient cohorts, MLH1 mutation is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 1,823 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible MLH1-associated genes across cancer lineages are PSMD9, MIR4790, and RN7SL447P. Each is linked with MLH1 in more than 2 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both MLH1-to-partner and partner-to-MLH1 results are reported.
