Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, MLF2 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated MLF2 data layer compared with 26 for mass-spec protein and 6 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in cervical squamous cell carcinoma and endocervical adenocarcinoma (CESC), where higher MLF2 Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated MLF2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
CESC, ESCA, and SKCM are the cancer types where MLF2 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
